This is how it shows its strengths, especially for the complete machining of large-volume components. Thanks to the proven moving gantry design, a particularly rigid machine bed and active component cooling, the DZ 22 W five axis achieves high precision even with very large workpiece dimensions. Short cycle times are achieved with ease thanks to the high axis acceleration, short chip-to-chip times and fast rapid traverses. The integrated workpiece changing device, which allows loading and unloading of raw and finished parts during machining, provides a further increase in productivity. With a total of 2 x 77 tools in the magazine, workpiece families as well as complex workpieces can be produced with low set-up times.
