By The Mark - Gillian Welch (Cover by Dubh Lee and Nikki Burke)

In the past year Gillian Welch has become one of my favourite songwriters. I had known of her from her work on the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack but it was actually a cover of her song Everything Is Free that really got me paying attention to her lyrics (check out Sylvan Esso's version of Everything is Free, it's class).
