Deadly Groin Pain: Stranger Cases Diagnosing the atypical

Описание к видео Deadly Groin Pain: Stranger Cases Diagnosing the atypical

Today, we have a 59 year old man with past medical history of hypertension and cigarette smoking, who is brought to the emergency department by EMS for acute onset right groin pain that radiates to the right foot.

The pain began while he was standing in line at a sporting event.

He also reports paresthesias and a sensation of heaviness in the right leg and is currently unable to ambulate secondary to his symptoms.

Our patient in question didn't survive.

Can you guess the diagnosis?

Today, Eric Gordon will go live for our 5th episode of stranger cases!

Once a month, he breaks down a unique case and atypical case, showing you what went wrong, so that you can learn from our mistakes to improve your patient care.
