How to Overcome a Low Step 1 Score | Residency Match Series

Hey all! I am a non-US IMG currently in the interview trail with a low step 1 score and let me just share with you how to still get interviews (IM categorical) despite this. I am still hoping for a match this coming March. Since Step 1 is transitioning to a pass/fail outcome, there will likely be a lot less weight given to Step 1 for the next application season. There are still a lot of questions regarding this transition. However, this is for those who have taken the exam and got a lower score in Step 1 that will be reflected on their score reports.

Note that there are a lot more ways to overcome a low step 1 score and land interviews, I am just sharing what I did on my end!
