Kabal - Mercenary Speedster - MK11 - Intros

Kabal first appeared in Mortal Kombat 3 (1995). He's known for being incredibly fast, wearing a custom mask with a respirator, and brandishing two hookswords. He's been a member of the Black Dragon criminal syndicate, but at heart is a mercenary with no loyalty to anything other than himself. His orgin story has been adjusted a few times, and it often has him being horribly burned and disfigured. Either by a betrayal by Kano, or after surviving an attack from one of Shao Kahn's extermination squads. The mask would conceal his deformed features, and also be a breathing device to aid his injured lungs. In Mortal Kombat 11 Kabal is portrayed as a Revenant, and also a younger version of himself (before the damaging incident) due to Kronika tampering with the timelines. In some timelines, Kabal was a NYPD officer alongside Kurtis Stryker... in others he's sought to overthrow Kano and lead the Black Dragon himself.
