4 people killed, 7 injured near Salgaa trading centre

4 people have died while 7 others are nursing injuries at the Nakuru referral hospital after a road accident at Salgaa in Nakuru.
The 14 - seater matatu involved in the accident, belongs to Eldoret crossroad sacco and was headed to Nakuru from Eldoret when it rammed a truck from the rear killing 4 people on the spot.
Nakuru County Police Commander Samuel Ndanyi confirmed that police are tracking the driver of the truck that fled the scene after the accident.
The bodies of the four who died have been preserved at the Nakuru annex funeral home.
Nakuru level 5 hospital chief nursing officer Arphaxard Kemboi confirmed that 7 people are nursing injuries in the facility while one person, the driver of the matatu, was treated and discharged.
