How to Activate DDPI in Alice Blue? Tutorial Video

The full form of DDPI is Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction. DDPI is permission that a client gives to the broker and the other people who take part in the depository for the reasons listed below. This is effective from Nov 18, 2022.
For the exchange to receive shares kept in the client's Demat account when the client sells the stock.
To pledge or re-pledge securities in order to meet a client's margin needs.
for withdrawing the shares from the Demat account when a client takes part in tender offers (buybacks, delistings, and takeovers).
For the purpose of withdrawing mutual funds from the Demat account during sale transactions

As per SEBI, currently, the POA activation has been stopped. Instead of POA, the new process is implementing the DDPI facility.
