The King of Pop at the White House

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. Under his father's encouragement, Jackson's career in music began at the age of 5. He would go on to earn the label of "King of Pop" and become one of the 20th century's most influential musical artists.
