I put some '51 Nocaster pickups into my Fender American Pro Tele. I didn't think the V-Mod were bad, but these definitely seem to help all the nice harmonics come through the amp.

The bridge definitely has more output than the neck which is something to be aware of if you're thinking of getting these pickups.

I had a Rectoverb 25 combo set to clean with a JHS Twin Twelve & Greer Amps Southland for a bit of dirt.
