Welcome back, Educators.
We’ll add a Timeline Diagram and format it.
To start, click Diagram on the Insert menu.
The Diagram sidebar will open, which has many types of diagrams.
For this lesson, we’ll choose the Timeline diagram.
Choose one of the preset styles offered by Google.
We could choose the number of elements of the diagram and its color.
First, select the slide, then click the diagram to add it.
Now, we have a diagram with four elements, leave one and delete the rest.
First, select them, then click Delete on the Edit menu.
To select more than an element, click the first, then hold the Shift key and click the others.
We’ll change the color of the diagram then duplicate it.
The diagram consists of three text boxes, two shapes, and one line. We can format them with these simple steps.
It will be easier t deal with the diagram if we ungroup its elements before format them, even though it isn't necessary.
Select the first shape.
Then change its fill color.
Change the color of the second shape also.
Select the line, then change its color.
Select the three text boxes and choose the black.
We need a diagram with five parts to fit the list.
Click Duplicate on the Edit menu.
Select all, then right-click, then Cut.
Then, we’ll paste it on the slide that has the menu.
And here is it.
And finally, edit the text in the text boxes of the diagram to fit the list.
