I started the week with top-ten pace, placing me in the “fast group” for qualifying. But a huge upset in the short, 4 lap quali when the font karts slowed to a halt, essentially impeding the session and placing me a disappointing 30th overall to start each Heat. 🫣

The results of my Heat Races placed me 14th overall for the Super Sunday Final.
I was confident that I had the pace and ability for a top-five finish, however on the first lap of the Final, a crash in front of me set me in a position with nowhere to go, another driver punting me from behind, spinning me off to the barriers and allowing the field of drivers to surge ahead of me. 😖
I continued the race with a bent chassis and axle - my aspirations of a top-five finish crushed. I refused to give in to defeat and maneuvered my way through the field. A mega drive from the back, I pushed hard every lap to make up 25 spots and cross the finish line 18th! 💨
