Anupam is the Vice President for Data Science at Optum. He has 20 years of experience in development of ML solutions for Fortune 100 companies across BFSI and Healthcare domains. Anupam joined Optum in 2012 and set up capabilities in data science, business analysis, data visualization, data engineering and analytics products across US, India, Philippines, and South America. Under Anupam’s leadership, these capabilities are leveraged to implement AI/ML solutions at Optum to improve access to care, the overall health care experience of members, support clinical professionals and physicians, and streamline existing administrative and operational activities. Prior to Optum, he spent a decade in the analytics consulting space advising retail banks, credit cards and P&C insurance companies across US, Europe and Asian markets on solutions for risk, operations and marketing functions.

Anupam completed his Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences from Delhi University and Masters in Business Administration from IIT Roorkee. He has also completed leadership development programs from Graduate School of Business – Stanford University, and Indian School of Business.
