De Haan is een schilderachtige badplaats dat in een heuvelachtig landschap aan de Belgische kust ligt. In het centrum van De Haan ziet u veel villa's in de Belle Epoque stijl. Het is één van de mooiste badplaatsen aan de Belgische kust.

De Haan is één van de weinige Belgische badplaatsen zonder hoge appartementencomplexen langs de kust. In plaats daarvan ziet u weelderige villa's uit het begin van de twintigste eeuw.

In het centrum van De Haan is het in de zomer gezellig druk. Er zijn in het centrum van De Haan een aantal goede hotels te vinden. Vanuit deze hotels in het centrum van De Haan bent u in een paar minuten op het strand.
