I REALLY DIDN'T want to do this full lawn renovation!

Описание к видео I REALLY DIDN'T want to do this full lawn renovation!

Talk about the wrong time of year! Well.. kinda.. This lawn renovation had been waiting for weeks.. We had all the rain earlier in May and that held us up.. then this customer went on holiday for 2 weeks.. When he got back it was June.

My personal cut off time for renovations is Mid May.. A renovation usually wants 6 weeks to come through and get reasonably well established.. If we hit major heat during these 6 weeks the amount of watering needed goes up significantly.

From experience Ive had customers who didn't water enough and then expected me to fix the lawn for free. Not good..

Anyway the point off this video is to tell you that you CAN still renovate but only if you can guarantee to keep up with watering needs..

As it gets hotter, it dries out so much faster..

I WOULD AVOID THE HEIGHT OF SUMMER

You will likely need to water 4 to 6 times a day while the seeds are starting to come through..

THEN you will have to keep up watering 3 to 4 times a week "deeply" right through Summer without fail.

Normal watering on established Grass is about 1 to 2 inches a week (applied early mornings).. Simply pop an empty tuna can where you are watering and let it full up about halfway.. then repeat this another 2 to 3 times each week.
I actually have a dedicated watering video here:    • 3 Phases To Watering New Grass Seeds ...
