Nightspell - Forgotten Victims of the Ashen Soul (full demo, 2024)

Here is an excellent debut of dungeon black metal from a new Ukrainian one-man band, Nightspell.

The DS aspects drift eerily through a ghostly ether, cloaked in shadowy atmosphere, and the black metal tracks are majestic and triumphant, cantering with barbed spears levelled toward melodic resolutions.

I have been hooked on this for the past week, looking forward to what will come next.
