The new Amazon Fire HD 8 2018 is the 8th generation of Amazon‘s Fire tablets. While it did not change that much compared to the previous versions, the Fire HD 8 now supports Alexa Hands Free and the Show Mode. Together with the Show Mode Charging Dock, you can convert the tablet into an Echo Show and use Alexa like you would with an Echo.

As you can see in my Unboxing video and quick review, the Amazon Fire HD 8 works quite well together with the Show Mode Charging Dock.
