ResinWorks 3D EasyCast 400 Series Castable Resin Review

1. Pave ring
Cleaning it in two ipa 99% baths should remove the wax from the holes, assuming that the print settings are dialed in and the holes are not filled in by over curing.
From looking at the video, it looks like most came out and may be a cleaning issue where wax was left behind.

2. The thick skin layer/viscosity you referred to that was in the vat is from the wax content. If you use a business card and stir the resin in a squeegee manner left to right it will be ok. A beta tester actually stress printed in 10C temp and it printed.

3. Yes you can do thinner engagement rings/earring etc with it as long as its oriented and supported properly.

This is a different material then previous and from its competitors. Therefore you cannot rely on traditional rules for supporting. However, once the user adopts the new tolerance requirements, it becomes second nature. They see the benefit in castings."

I agree with all of that information, I think compressed air in between 2 washes of the resin after printing would definitely help remove any extra that's such in details such as stone settings. I still haven't got a perfected resin profile, so it could have been a combination of the 2, but I lean towards cleaning based off the characteristics I saw.

Good to know that heating isn't required and that that reaction is normal.
