THANK YOU FOR SMOKING (2005) Retrospective | Required Viewing?

Just in time for Thanksgiving, 2005’s THANK YOU FOR SMOKING is a 90-minute comedy satire with a lot to say. The film focuses on Big Tobacco lobbyist Nick Naylor (Aaron Eckhart), the proclaimed "Sultan of Spin" and his clashes with activists, self-centered journalists (Katie Holmes), the original Marlboro Man (Sam Elliott) and a crusading anti-smoking senator from Vermont (William H. Macy). The film has gained quite a bit acclaim since its release but is it Required Viewing?

Directed by Jason Reitman. Also starring Maria Bello, Rob Lowe, J. K. Simmons, and Robert Duvall.
