A talent showcase celebration of stage performance from the people of Radford and Coundon, Coventry

The Coundon and Radford Talent Showcase is a local community talent show to discover and celebrate the singing, dancing, and performing talent in the Coundon and Radford neighbourhoods. 
Gaylita and Neil have been working tirelessly for the last 6 months to create a stage for local performers. The show was originally planned to take place live at the Rialto Reborn, however, due to covid-19 restrictions, it will now be streamed online. “The show must go on,” said Gaylita from Coventry Arts Collective, a local organisation that creates a stage for local arts and artists. Hey, the venue isn’t important, what is important, is the performers get a chance to showcase their talent!
The categories are:
Age 15 and under solo artist,
Age 16 and over solo artist,
Groups. 

Independent Judges were chosen from the local community, and include important Coventry based music and broadcast, industry professionals. Pete Chambers: from Coventry Music Museum, Kate Hills: Manager and Broadcaster, Hillz FM, Bex Shiner, Big Brother finalist from Coundon, Rachel New: BBC C&W broadcaster and Arts Activist, Tom Barnwell, Coventry The Voice finalist.

Audition videos are judged on Originality, Talent, Specificity to Coventry Culture.  
 
Prizes include A headline performance stage at a Coventry City of Culture outdoor festival main stage in Summer 2021. The winners from each category will have the opportunity to show their winning performance live (time and place TBA)

Produced and presented by Neil and Gaylita Bradley from Coventry Arts Collective and supported the Coventry City of Culture Trust.
