With the aim to prosper together and to achieve collective development for all the countries in the Global South, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 13 announced the establishment of ‘Global South Centre- Centre of Excellence’ along with other developmental initiatives.
“Happy to announce that India will establish a Global South Centre- Centre of Excellence. This institution will undertake research on development solutions or best practices of any of our countries which can be scaled and implemented in other members of the Global South,” the PM said.
