The inaugural Original Art Expo (OAX) was held in Orlando, Florida on January 26 to 28, 2024 at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Studios. OAX is a showcase for original comic, illustration, and other narrative art, and is the premiere visual storytelling art event in the United States. OAX is designed from the ground up to celebrate the attending Artists while honoring the Art Collectors who collect their Artworks.

The sold out show was capped at a maximum of 500 Attendees a day. They were joined by 60 invited Artists and more than 30 Auction Houses, Art Dealers, and Artist Reps. OAX kicked off Friday night with a VIP Opening Reception that included nearly 100% of OAX Artists and Exhibitors in attendance. The OAX Art Auction and pizza party on Saturday evening was an incredible success and helped raise a considerable amount for the Hero Initiative, a charity that assists comics creators. Sunday’s Free Sketch & Signature Event included more than 30 participating artists and was a huge hit with Attendees. OAX’s six special gallery rooms showcased world-class illustration, comic book, and Marvel card art.
