USCGA 2/c Summer 2020

This video encompasses most of my summer at the Coast Guard Academy leading into my junior year. Due to circumstance of the nation and world, my summer certainly was not what I expected... Nonetheless it was still amazing.

After being tested for COVID-19 and being quarantined with all of my classmates, our summer training kicked off with seamanship training on T-Boats & Leadership 44 sailboats. We visited the range to practice our marksmanship and brushed up on our personal finance skills. We traveled to USCG Air Station Cape Cod- there my classmates flew on H-60's & C-144's and escaped to the beautiful beaches. We were in charge of training the incoming class of 2024 on proper seamanship at the waterfront and proper military bearing in the barracks. We spent as much of our free time soaking up the beautiful New England summer.
