How to replace a serpentine belt on a Chevy Cruze.

Описание к видео How to replace a serpentine belt on a Chevy Cruze.

In this video, I show you how to fix an old, worn serpentine (alternator) belt. The vehicle I am working on is a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze with a 1.4-liter turbo four cylinder engine. I believe that models from other years use the same engine, but you should refer to your car manual. If you are struggling to loosen the bolts, you may need to use a torque wrench to help give you more leverage. Link below.

If you are not mechanically inclined, have access to proper equipment, or comfortable working with a vehicle's engine, please bring your car to a licensed mechanic.

About me: Hi! My name is Dane and I’m a stay at home Dad. I absolutely love staying at home with my two little boys. Since I started spending time at home with my boys, I’ve learned to DIY just about everything around the house to save money. In the last few years I’ve done an endless amount of projects during nap time including remodeling 3 bathrooms. I’ve also insourced other things like giving my dogs haircuts, making simple foods from scratch, landscaping projects, and more. I’ve realized how much money I save by doing home projects on my own, so I want to show you simple (and some more complicated) things that you can do too! I want to empower you to take some risks and learn something new – whether you want to save some cash, or just to have the satisfaction of completing the project yourself. Note: In the description, I’ve linked some of my favorite items that I use for my projects. Full disclosure - if you click these links and make a purchase, I get a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only will recommend products that I actually use and need! Thank you for the support. I hope you enjoy following along with my adventures as a DIY dad.
