KLCC Park
The KLCC Park (Malay: Taman KLCC) is an urban park in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The park has been designed to provide greenery to Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it.

The park was designed by Roberto Burle Marx. It is said that it was the last work undertaken by the Brazilian architect.[1] When the park was designed, the aim was to "leave the world a little more sensitive and a little more educated to the importance of nature".[2]

The park was designed to showcase a heritage of tropical greenery by integrating man's creation with nature. The park itself contrasts as a calm environment in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. The park features many combinations of man-made design such as cements, water features and also natural features such as trees, shrubs, stones and wood. Elements of shape and topography were created to give an illusion of space. The combination of trees, shrubs and sculptures were arranged to provide color and form to the park.[1]

Conservation and bio-diversity was a major influence in the creation of the park. 23 of the mature and rarer specimens were saved from the old Selangor Turf Club and transplanted into the park grounds. 1900 indigenous trees and 66 species of palms were planted in the park to promote bio-diversity. The trees were deliberately selected to attract local and migratory birds.[1]

A man made lake was built in the middle of the park with a 18 meter high water fountain, directly in front of Suria KLCC mall and Petronas Twin Towers towards the middle of the park. A 4.3 meter elevated bridge that cut across the lake provides a vantage view of the park and the twin towers.

Suria KLCC
Suria KLCC is a 6-story shopping mall located at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers. Suria KLCC is a premier shopping destination with over 300 flagship stores. The shopping mall is situated in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"Suria" is a native Malay word derived from Sanskrit "surya", meaning "sunshine". Opened in May 1998, the shopping mall was conceived as part of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) project, constructed at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers. The mall offers views of KLCC Park and Lake Symphony. The mall's floor plan is crescent-shaped, featuring its three ground-level exits wings to Jalan Ampang, Jalan P. Ramlee, and Persiaran Petronas where direct access to the lobby of the towers, the Petronas Philharmonic Hall and Lake Symphony are available. On the concourse level, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) entrance is available at the Ampang end, and the entrance to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is via a tunnel off the centre court.

Aquaria KLCC
The Aquaria KLCC is an oceanarium located beneath Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre within Kuala Lumpur City Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Featuring 60,000 square feet (5,600 m2) in two levels with a 90-metre (300 ft) underwater tunnel, Aquaria KLCC houses over 250 different species and over 5,000 land and aquatic animals from Malaysia and around the world. Interactive information kiosks on fish and turtle conservation. It includes a themed retail area of about 5,000 square feet (460 m2). Aquaria KLCC is based on the journey of water from the land to the sea. The journey starts in the misty highlands, down through rivers, through the rainforest and mangroves to the coral reefs into the deep blue sea. There is a large food-court just outside the aquarium with many choices of food.

The Aquaria is located in the lower levels of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

At the end of the Aquaria, visitors will pass by an exquisite souvenir shop and then you will also find a food court at the exit.

Kuala Lumpur Tower
Kuala Lumpur Tower, also known as KL Tower and is a 6-story, 421-meter-tall telecommunication tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the world's 7th tallest tower, also, Malaysia and Southeast Asia's 2nd tallest tower. Its construction was completed on 1994. It features an antenna that increases its height to 421 metres (1,381 feet). The roof of the pod is at 335 metres (1,100 feet). The rest of the tower below has a stairwell and an elevator to reach the upper area, which also contains a revolving restaurant, providing diners with a panoramic view of the city.

Races are held annually, where participants race up the stairs to the top. The tower also acts as the Islamic falak observatory to observe the crescent moon which marks the beginning of Muslim month of Ramadhan, Syawal, and Zulhijjah, to celebrate fasting month of Ramadhan, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Aidiladha. The tower is the highest viewpoint in Kuala Lumpur that is open to the public.
