Welcome to our Batman Begins (2005) reaction! This is our first time watching this film in a very long time and there is lot's to talk about. Is Batman Begins still good 19 years later?

Batman Begins is a 2005 superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan and written by Nolan and David S. Goyer.

Batman Begins follows Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) as he returns to Gotham City after years of training in martial arts and combat techniques. Haunted by the murder of his parents, Bruce sets out to confront Gotham's criminal underworld. With the help of his trusted allies, Alfred (Michael Caine) and Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), Bruce adopts the persona of Batman to fight crime and corruption.

As he battles villains like crime boss Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) and the twisted Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy), he uncovers a larger conspiracy led by his former mentor, Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson), who plans to destroy Gotham. Batman Begins explores the origins of the Dark Knight, focusing on his transformation from a grieving heir into Gotham's most feared vigilante.

We were amazed by the use of practical effects in this, the work they did with the miniatures and how good the sets looked. The dialogue was rich and compelling.
