MY FIRST ARCADE BEAT EM UP 1CC: THE PUNISHER

I asked around to see what game would be a good first arcade beat em up clear, and lots of people suggested the Punisher from 1993. I was first introduced to this game through the Sega Genesis version and I loved it but I didnt know there was an arcade version until years later.

Getting this 1CC took me almost 2 months of playing a few hours every week. I streamed all of my runs. I started from using 9 credits then using less and less as time went on.

I'm using the Japanese version of The Punisher for the gameplay. It has a flaming flying kick that comes out when you jump cancel out of a roll then hit A (attack). It's pretty useful for stunning opponents.

There was so much to learn in this game. Understanding where item drops where, knowing best times to consume them or save them, moving box/oil drums/barrels with HP items to boss battles if possible, understanding the move list, the importance of throwing opponents and weapons, crowd control and so much more.
