Flooding of the Hennopsrivier at Cnr Blackwood and Witstinkhout street in Centurion. The R533 is temporarily closed for repairs. Rain at St Michael's in Uvongo, Umtentweni at Port Shepstone and Margate. Fun in the pool at the ATKV Klein Kariba in Bela-Bela today. Crocodile River and Hartbeespoort Dam are in full flow. The dam that supplies Swellendam with drinking water is below 48%. Raining in Kruger National Park today. Annual Christmas cycle in Kleinmond. The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
Severe storms are on the way today with a Yellow Level 4 warning for Free State Province, eastern Northern Cape Province, and western North West Province where heavy rain could flood roads and low-lying bridges, along with dangerous lightning, damaging winds and hail, while the Eastern Cape Province except the south coast and western KwaZulu-Natal Province are under a Level 2 for similar conditions causing more localized problems, so stay alert and avoid driving through flooded areas.
