Emission and Absorption Line Spectra - A Level Physics

This video introduces and explains both emission line spectra and absorption line spectra for A Level Physics.

Why are fireworks coloured, how can we tell what elements are in stars just from the light we see? This video explains why physics is all about sunshine and rainbows.

An emission line spectrum is produced when photons are emitted from atoms whereas an absorption line spectrum is produced when photons are absorbed by atoms.
