Kari has always loved structure. She prefers it when her ducks are in a row, but life has its twists and turns. When she unexpectedly loses her job, her ducks waddle out of row and life as she knew it spun out of focus. In real life, being fired is nothing like it is in the movies, it is brutal and Kari went through denial, anger and frustration. Getting another job proved challenging for her and it was spiraling out of control for her. This experience changed her, in this talk, she shares her experience lets us in on how she navigated life in a period when her stars did not seem to align, which began with her changing one ‘F’ word for another ‘F’ word.
