Chandanakkavu Temple is located at Kurumbathur in Malappuram district, Kerala. There are four temples here dedicated to Ganapathi, Vishnu, Shiva and Bhagavathi. There are four temples in Chandanakkavu – Melekkavu, Keezhe Kavu, Ganapati Temple and Vishnu Kshetram. The temple is located inside 8 acres of land. Melekkavu temple is dedicated to Shiva and Bhagavathi. Both the deities are installed on the same peedom. The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Kara Bhagavathy and Eettilath Amma (ഈറ്റില്ലത്തമ്മ ). A unique offering is made by pregnant woman for easy and incident free delivery to Eettilath Amma.
