Hiroshima is a very important place to visit in Japan. Most people know that it was here that the first atomic bomb was dropped in WWII creating unimaginable devastation. Decades later, Hiroshima has now rebuilt and become a beacon of hope and education towards abolishing nuclear weapons. While of course the main reason to visit this city is to pay your respects to the victims of this tragedy and visit all the exhibits of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, there is also many other things to see and do.
