Legion vs. NCR Lands

Описание к видео Legion vs. NCR Lands

In this video, I compare and contrast the civilian territories of Fallout's two largest factions: The New California Republic, and Caesar's Legion. This video serves to establish the foundation of their political and economic systems, as well as to delve into the complexities of daily life for the average wastelander in each territory. The lore surrounding this topic is unfortunately vague for several reasons, the most important of which regarding the unfinished state of Caesar's Legion prior to the game's launch. Fortunately for us, Joshua Sawyer has gone on record to provide the community with some insight into this very topic.

I want to preface this video by stating that the majority of my conjecture into this topic involves the degree of infrastructure built in Caesar's territory. It's stated in-game that Caesar's territory doesn't have civilian infrastructure, which I wholly disagree with. Several key pieces of evidence presented in-game contradict this statement, such as the existence of a monetary based economy, governmental offices as in the example of the Offices of Slavery, large cities currently occupied and under Legion control, etc. In order for these things to exist in a realistic sense, a certain degree of infrastructural development must occur. Instead, I believe that the only thing the subjects of Legion controlled territory are missing out on is the culture.

In a future video, I seek to explain the Legion's plan to synthesize with the NCR. This synthesis, I believe, will be what establishes a solidified cultural infrastructure in the minds and hearts of the Legion's subjects.
