Hannah Grinnan was born with a heart defect and needed a heart transplant.
When Hannah started to reject the heart, the family moved from Arizona to California to be able to provide her with the best medical care. As part of the makeover, the family installed an air purification system to try to eliminate the risk of mold and germs affecting Hannah’s health. For the oldest son and his fiancee, the show built a mini apartment as part of the house, and they also gave a new truck to the father and a new car for the oldest daughter.
