This video shows how I went about actually milling the 95 Lb. white oak blank. Using the offset jig as a sled I used a large router with a 2" diameter bit taking many passes up and down the blank. Depth of cut was never more than 1/8" and for each pass I moved the router about 1/2" on the sled. Final weight of the blank before glass was under 70 Lbs., compared to the soggy old OEM rudder that is much smaller at 75 Lbs.
