Warbonnet ridgerunner with added ridgeline and cold weather test of quilts

It was 25 degrees and windy today. I set up the hammock with a full length removable/adjustable ridgeline that runs from the ends of the suspension. The purpose of it, to support shock cords that help keep the Onewind under quilt and blanket in place and closes gaps that can allow cold air in. Other than that, you don't really need one unless you want to hang some lightweight items from it.

It was a good 10 degrees colder than I've used any of this stuff before. A worthy challenge for all of the components, especially the Onewind top quilt which is rated to 35 - 50 degrees on its low end. I have since purchased the spindrift sock and that probably would have given me another 5 - 10 degrees of comfort.

Everything worked well although the camera battery didn't like the cold, my fingers didn't either. I ended up with more face time on camera than I would have liked but you can't voice over to footage that isn't there.
