In this video I show 3 ways to spot fake gold coins and fake gold bars. Fake gold coins can be made to look exactly like real gold coins so it can be hard to tell if they are fake or real. It took me a while to learn how to spot fake gold bars and fake gold coins until I learned the tests that I show in this video. The fake gold coin test that is the easiest is the magnet test. The fake gold magnet test is simply to place a neodymium magnet on the gold to see if it is real or fake gold. I do not recommend the fake gold acid test because it will destroy the gold coin or gold bar. My fake gold tester is a sigma machine which uses electricity to test the gold. Another easy fake or real gold test is the weight test.
