Approximately 10 days ago, the L.A. BEAST consumed 25-36 year old candy bars for a Halloween Taste test video and one of those candy items was a 1997 Snickers Bar from a limited edition Christmas tin. On the snickers bag there was in fact a "Quality Guarantee" from the Mars Company stating that if their product was not up to freshness standards, one could send the bag back and receive a fresh bag. Nowhere within the language of this "Quality Guarantee" did it state that a request for a fresh bag must happen on or before a "Best by Date".
So as the 1997 Snickers ended up tasting like "Immediate Rancid Chemicals" to the BEAST, he decided to get in contact with MARS INCORPORATED's Quality Care Team and share how his Snickers experience was not the utmost pleasurable or enjoyable.
Within only 8 short days of quite possible contracting botulism (knock on wood) from eating 25-36 year old chocolate candy bars, the L.A. BEAST has received an OFFICIAL Letter from the MARS-WRIGLEY Company and here today let us open this letter and see what they have to say.
