☀️ Welcome! ☀️ If you don't want to measure or plan too much AND you want to ♻︎ UPCYCLE ♻︎ an old, plain nylon mesh tote, this project might be for you. Follow along as I take a pile of scraps and turn them into a bright, fun grocery tote! This project turned out very cute. This tote took me ONLY 3-1/2 HOURS!!

The base (foundation) of this bag is an old ugly mesh nylon tote with one rivet tearing away from the bag. I used some heavy duty straps I found free at a garage sale! For the lining I used some old patriotic fabric that was in my stash for a LONG time, and didn't seem to work with anything. For the exterior of the bag I had some leftover squares from another project, and some leftover jelly roll pieces.

For this type of project you are NOT LIMITED to squares or straight lines! Use your imagination and HAVE FUN WITH YOUR SEWING!
