Rather than just review the Movo VXR10 pro, I thought that it might be more useful to compare the earlier version with the new one.

My first thoughts are that the new one goes lower in the bass while the older one has more of a mid bass boost. So the old one 'sounds' bassy but doesn't go quite as low as the new one. Some people might prefer the mid bass hump without the deeper bass though to quieten down traffic noises and rumble.

The Movo VXR10 pro sounds like it has a stronger high frequency output as well. That helps with the clarity of speech.

So with not so much of a mid bass hump and more treble, the pro version is probably better at capturing clear speech in most situations. So in my mind, it's a better mic for the extra £10.
