The Basics Of Hand Dyed Yarn (Part 2 Section 1) - DYE

Hi and welcome back. This is Part 2 in a series of videos specifically about the techniques and methods I use when creating hand dyed yarn. However before the dyeing process begins there are a few things to know which I call the BASICS. These Basics include what you need to know before you get started dyeing yarn and will be the foundation to build on as you learn how to create your own unique works of art with fibre.

Part 1 discussed protein fibres and Part 2 will discuss the three major components you need to dye protein fibres, ACID, DYE and HEAT. Each component will have it's own separate video for convenience. This video will be about DYE.
