Join me and the Hogwarts first-year students as we cross The Great Lake from Hogsmeade to the Hogwarts Boathouse as I unbox, speed-build, and review the new-for-2024 76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse from LEGO Harry Potter. This 350-piece modular Harry Potter set recreates Hogwarts boathouse and includes four Gryffindor student minifigures: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, and Dean Thomas. Waiting for the first-year students is Professor Minerva McGonagall with a printed list of the students.

76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse from LEGO Harry Potter is part of a modular collection of Hogwarts-themed sets which promise to build into the most detailed LEGO Hogwarts Castle ever. It recreates the boathouse as featured in several Harry Potter movies including The Philosopher’s Stone and Deathly Hallows Part 2. Interestingly, the boathouse did not feature in the books. Instead of arriving at the boathouse, the first-year students arrived at a subterranean harbor beneath the cliffs on which Hogwarts Castle stands.

This video provides the full LEGO experience including unboxing the 76426 boathouse and a 60 second speed build. I review the set in detail and share interesting facts about the boathouse and the students, including the techniques Harry potter producers used to make a maturing Matthew Lewis into the goofy Neville Longbottom.
