In December 2023 we played a set at Music Around The Fireplace - the wonderful monthly songwriter series in Hilversum. We asked Janos Koolen to play with us, so we could play some of the songs from our album of Scottish folk songs, called Near Far. This is the first installment of a series of four! We apologise for not having noticed that Janos was standing in the dark... At least you can hear his guitar playing very well!

The song is Rivers Run by our favourite Scottish songwriter; Karine Polwart. The tune at the end is written by Janos Koolen and is called The Salmon's Leap.
