You mentioned that you stopped taking birth control pills last month, and your period was supposed to start recently, and it didn't, so you took a home pregnancy test. And that's good. The first sign of pregnancy is a missed period, and so whenever that day comes when your period should start and it doesn't, that's when you take a test. It sounds like you took a few of them, and they were all negative, and because of that, the likelihood of pregnancy is not great. But that leaves you wondering still, it sounds like, "Am I pregnant, is there any chance, and if not, why didn't I have a period?" It would be best for you to call your doctor and talk with them about your concerns. They can give you the best information based on their knowledge of your circumstances. For example, they could talk to you about the birth control pills that you were on, and talk to you about whether or not they might affect bleeding patterns after discontinuation. They can also decide if further testing is warranted.
