Firing up the Off Grid Sauna Finally! (How Hot Can it Get?) - Part 4

We work on the benches in the off grid sauna, the battens, the lighting, and fire up the stove to see just how hot we can get the sauna with the help of the wood burning stove.

The sauna is covered with dead harvested cedar with the frame formed by a metal culvert. The ends are sided with ash wood harvested from a tree nearby cut to 1/2 inch thickness on a portable sawmill. Insulation is off cast, so bought for cheap, and the studs are from discarded pallet wood. Subscribe for part 2 where we work on the inside of the sauna.
