Gospel: Mark 9:30-37
Jesus and his disciples left from there and began a journey through Galilee, but he did not wish anyone to know about it. Then he taught his disciples, and he said to them, “For the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him, and having been killed, on the third day he will rise again.” But they did not understand the word. And they were afraid to question him.

And they went to Capernaum. And when they were in the house, he questioned them, “What did you discuss on the way?” But they were silent. For indeed, on the way, they had disputed among themselves as to which of them was greater. And sitting down, he called the twelve, and he said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be the last of all and the minister of all.” And taking a child, he set him in their midst. And when he had embraced him, he said to them: “Whoever receives one such child in my name, receives me. And whoever receives me, receives not me, but him who sent me.”

Tuesday, May 21, 2024 - A moment with GOD through HIS WORD.

Reflection: How often do you set aside quiet time alone with Jesus, away from the busyness of life, to deepen your understanding of his teachings and grow in your faith?

Prayer: Lord, You have so much to say, so much to teach and so much to reveal. As I choose to follow You and devote my entire life to You, I pray that You will continuously draw me into greater silence and solitude so that I can receive from You the deep, clear and direct messages that I need to hear, understand and believe. Jesus, I trust in You.
