William Griffin was a 15 year old schoolboy who attended the famous 1937 match and shared amazing recollections with Sir Stanley Matthews, one of his boyhood football heroes, described as a true English gentleman.

Also interviewed were Russel Galbraith, the author of the Hampden Story and Jed O'Brian, Project Director of the Scottish Football Association's Museum Trust.
