Narrow the search from the Attributes on the left side of the screen to select preferred Construction elements like top down or bottom up; seamed or seamless. Narrow the search further by selecting Design Elements (such as type of neck or sleeve length) or Fabric Characteristics (cables, lace, etc.).

Basic sweaters for sizes from small child up through extra-large adult, in any gauge from 3 sts/in to 7 sts/in. These sweaters are all knit bottom up, in pieces and seamed.

The Knitter's Handy Book of Top-Down Sweaters by Ann Budd.

Similar concept as the previous book. These sweaters are all knit top-down, seamlessly.

Knitting from the Top by Barbara G. Walker

A variety of sweater styles, including two methods for working a sweater with set-in sleeves seamlessly (short row sleeve cap, and simultaneous set-in sleeves). The process of knitting a sweater using whatever gauge you get with your yarn combined with your desired chest circumference is described in a conversational way.

Several different seamless sweater styles are included in this book, all knit from the bottom up, with the exception of the Kangaroo Pouch Sweater (seamless set-in), in which the body is knit totally in the round, bottom up. Armholes and neck are steeked (cut open) and sleeves are knit top down.
