Lures OR Flies — Which Fishing Method Catches More Trout?

Описание к видео Lures OR Flies — Which Fishing Method Catches More Trout?

Steve 'Starlo' Starling and his wife Jo Starling put a burning question to the test on the cool waters of Lake Eucumbene, in the Snowy Mountains of NSW: Which is the more effective trout catching tool, lures or flies? You may be surprised at the outcome!

GEAR USED: Steve's spin gear consisted of two outfits based on 1000-size Shimano reels (a Stradic and a Stradic Ci4) filled with fine braid and matched to a Shimano Anarchy spin rod (702 Light Spin) and a Shimano Poison Adrena rod (266L-2). The productive lures were an Atomic Jerk Minnow and an Ecogear Breamer Vibe.
Jo fly fished with a 10 foot, 6-weight G.Loomis NRX rod and various fly lines, from full floaters to Type 5 fast sinking lines.
