Ingredients:

Butterscotch Ice Cream
Nestle Milkmaid - 1 Tin
Sugar - 200g
Roasted Cashew Nuts - 50g
Fresh Cream - 50ml
Whipping Cream - 500ml
Butter - 50g

Method:

Butter Scotch Ice cream- Procedure
- To make butterscotch sauce, add sugar to a pan, stir until translucent, cook until golden-brown, and then reduce flame to low.
- Add Butter to sugar syrup and mix, then turn off the flame and add Fresh cream. The Butterscotch sauce is now ready.
- To prepare the topping for the Ice cream, heat Sugar in a pan until it turns glazy and golden-brown. Turn off the flame when the sugar turns golden-brown, then add roasted Cashew nuts and mix thoroughly.
- Crease a plate or tray with oil or butter, spread sugar-glazed Cashew nuts on it, and let them cool at room temperature for about an hour.
- The next step involves adding the specified amount of non-dairy Whipping Cream to a mixing bowl and blending it until it reaches a stiff state.
- Mix 1 tin of Nestle Milkmaid with blended cream, then add Butterscotch sauce, gently fold, and leave undisturbed.
- Meanwhile, cut the sugar-glazed cashew nuts into pieces for garnishing.
- Spread caramel sauce in a zig-zag motion over the cream mixture, then top it with chopped sugar-glazed cashew nuts for an appealing appearance.
- Refrigerate the prepared mixture for 6-7 hours, then savour the delicious, velvet-smooth Butterscotch Ice Cream.
