Guitar composition I began writing during an instrumental music phase in Boulder and recently completed. Working on this reminded me of times I spent in the beautiful wilderness while living in northern California. During a period while living at a retreat center in Laytonville, I'd work in town at the health food store and get back to the land shortly before dusk. Many days, I'd look forward to wandering off to a secluded spot of prairie surrounded by rolling hills and trees on the 160 acre land and stay until after dark.
